This Powered Maine Cat is now available:

MAINE CAT P-42 SPECIFICATIONS FINISHED
 

This P-42 prototype was the “trial horse” for the new production Maine Cat P-47.  It has great fuel efficiency and measures LOA of 42’-6”, DWL of 40’-6”, with a beam 17’-0”.   Full load displacement is 23,000 pounds.

To facilitate sea trails, the hull was given a temporary plywood deck and a small wheelhouse.  Maine Cat is offering this unique vessel, “as is”, ready to be powered away to be finished by the yard of your choice or completed finished in our shop fully commissioned per the following list of Maine Cat P-42 specifications as of July 30, 2011.  

Either way, this is a fantastic vessel that lends itself to a variety of possible boats – a fairly simple “day boat” in the Maine tradition, an all-out cruising boat, a small party charter fishing boat or a USCG certified passenger boat for day trips.  Maine Cat would love to work with you to finish the P-38 to fit your requirements.
